Hello, I’m certain you’ve encountered discussions about Siege experiencing significant frame drops when playing with others online. Please don't feel obligated to remind me that my PC hardware is modest – I already know it.
My system specifications are as follows: Intel Core i5 3350P processor, ASRock Extreme 3 Z77 motherboard, MSI Twin Frozr III GTX660 graphics card, 16GB Corsair DOM DDR3 RAM, and an 860i Corsair Power supply.
As the title indicates, I’m experiencing intermittent drops to a single frame for approximately 2-5 seconds, typically resulting in my death shortly thereafter. However, this issue is becoming increasingly frustrating. I’ve been experimenting with the lowest settings in an attempt to resolve it, but this has not worked. I then tested Siege on a friend’s computer with nearly identical hardware, and he experiences similar frame drops, though only for a brief second or so. I’ve attempted various solutions including full-screen mode, windowed borderless, windowed display settings, adjusting my field of view, and a complete reinstall of the game and drivers – all with no success. I’m genuinely perplexed and hoping to find assistance here.
