Rainbow Six Siege download failing in Uplay
The game, Siege, refuses to download. It reaches the “ready to play” screen and then becomes stuck, freezing without progressing. The download speed remains constant but doesn’t advance or indicate ongoing progress. I’ve attempted all the solutions I’ve found online – running Uplay as an administrator, restricting my internet bandwidth, and altering compatibility settings. I've attempted this process roughly eight times now, and I’ve also completely uninstalled and removed Uplay before reinstalling it each time. Each attempt ends with the “ready to play” stage causing my computer to crash entirely, requiring a hard reset. Other games download without issue; for example, I successfully downloaded a free demo of Uno and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Although these files are smaller, I still can’t understand why Siege won't download. I'm completely baffled and increasingly frustrated. Any assistance would be incredibly helpful!
