Summary
Rainbow Six: Extraction launches on January 20 across multiple platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Amazon Luna, Stadia, and the Ubisoft Store on PC. The base price is $39.99, which also includes a 14-day buddy pass for two friends. The title isn’t available on Steam. Though no official reason was provided, speculation suggests Ubisoft may be adding NFTs or avoiding certain payment fees. Potential alternatives include not supporting Steam or implementing the buddy system differently. More details are available at the official Ubisoft news page.

Could be a unique title, not strictly tech news. We're keeping this separate from the NFT discussion. Just in case it matters. And if it does, it'll be quite balanced.

Most people seem to be checking Uplay regularly. Probably only a few upcoming titles will appear on Steam from Ubisoft, with the most recent one being in 2019.

Their most recent match was The Division 2 in 2019, which isn't connected to NFTs. They mentioned a possible return if the Deck performs well, though this timeline is now two months behind.
