It's technically feasible. The 2700X consumes a significant amount of power, so I’d like to opt for another board if feasible, or ensure the VRM includes active cooling.
Do you already have the CPU? If not, obtain another one—preferably a Ryzen 3000 or 5000. If you won’t be increasing its speed, this setup should work. You might want a better VRM and a larger heatsink; technically it’s passive cooling since there’s no fan.
I could secure a b550m-a or m-k model if that would be preferable.
