searching online shows that cpu turbo is set to active by default
testing my CPU under a high performance power plan shows the base speed is 3.2 ghz, but it increases to 3.35 ghz during load

my cpu operates very efficiently, which means my vrm stays cool as well—it's not causing any overheating issues.
