Hey everyone! Your Ryzen 7 2700 overclocked to 4 GHz at 1.35V in LLC mode 4/5 has performed well for Dota 2, staying stable up to around 60°C. If you want consistent performance, it’s a good idea to keep the CPU with the overclock during both everyday tasks and gaming sessions.

It really comes down to your comfort level. I wouldn’t suggest keeping the clock on constantly, since it forces the CPU and VRMS beyond their safe limits. It’s unlikely to cause immediate damage, but there’s a chance it could reduce the device’s lifespan. Also, 95 degrees is extremely hot. If you intend to run it in that state for long periods, consider upgrading with a better cooler—like a Noctua NU-12 or an AIO—or invest in a more robust setup. Heat always increases stress on your system.

It only hits 95°C when I use all 16 threads, but I won’t be using the OC in that scenario.

It seems like you're confirming something is fine, though you're considering other options. Just want to make sure you're comfortable with the decision.
