the processor maxes around 4.05gHz, but at 4.1gHz it shows a black screen after restart... it only reaches 3.9gHz in auto settings

The 4.2Ghz represents the highest single-core boost speed. Likely you lack a chip supporting 4.1Ghz across all cores. It's a matter of chance with silicon. Have you ever adjusted the voltage?

Well, that's typical. Performance can reach up to 4.2Ghz when conditions are ideal.

Which cooler are you using? What temps are you seeing? With the 3600, it’s usually best to turn on PBO in BIOS. It should push performance up to 4.2 per core when needed. All cores won’t exceed 4.0.

Temperatures aren't low enough, particularly for those that missed the silicon chance—requirements drop well below 0°C
