I never encountered any BSOD messages during crashes. It was just a black screen followed by fan activity. At first, I assumed the problem was related to the GPU.

AMD 3900x paired with Corsair Vengeance 4x8GB 3200Mhz (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16®), Radeon VII, and Gigabyte 570 Master (1.0). XMP is both disabled and enabled. With XMP active I have three adjustable settings, none of which are reliable. I ended up with two single and two double dimms. It seems I should lower the manual setting below 3200 or try different dimmer options.

This RAM appears to be listed on the recommended vendor catalog for your mobile manufacturer—likely because it’s a widely used model. It’s possible the different entries were accidentally combined, but RAM modules are always verified to function correctly together. Running it at its advertised speed should work fine with just one click now. Notably, many similar problems seem to affect X570 boards, especially from Gigabyte, though I haven’t seen this issue elsewhere outside this discussion. The correct XMP profile usually resolves the matter unless there’s a genuine hardware flaw.

They reside on gigabyte's memory list and have a rating of 3200, supporting both single and dual X4. On paper, I think I can enable XMP without any issues, but in reality, it’s been stable for about five hours at 2933. With XMP enabled, BSODs occur within an hour. The memory slots are already occupied by the same ones. It’s just that one pair is single rank and the other is dual rank (Samsung vs SK Hynix). The only reason I saw two different models was because I wanted two red and two black units. I didn’t realize they’re from two separate factories... sigh... On my Intel 6700K, this never caused a problem. I’m considering buying two 16GB at 3600 and it would be simpler.
