It seems you might be encountering high memory rates, but the clock speeds don't allow exceeding the standard RAM speeds. You may not be able to overclock the RAM or simply can't go beyond the default voltage. Try increasing the FSB speed and setting the memory to its default range, then attempt to boot. If needed, consider adding a voltage of 0.005+.

The BSEL mod causes the system to believe there is a 1333fsb CPU present, while the RAM operates at its standard speed.

I checked that earlier—Gigabyte 775 boards disregard any adjustments you make to the BSEL pads. However, the VID pads do alter the standard voltage settings.

There were various BSEL mods in the past. Some BIOS versions might not have included 333fsb updates earlier. If this model supports 333fsb CPUs, the pin should enable that feature. I would give it a try.

Is your motherboard equipped with a Hardware Watchdog? This feature stops overclocking on LGA 775 boards. If you're unsure about this term, we can try disabling it together.

Certain PLL chips include a TME bit that restricts FSB adjustment. When it's fixed at 266MHz, options are limited.
