No, the R3 3300x would not bottleneck a GTX 1080.

Essentially no impact. However, it could slow down a quicker GPU like a 1080Ti in CPU-heavy games like Battlefield V, so be aware this component has its boundaries.

I recently had to sell my living room gaming PC to my brother because his 7600K died, probably the graphics card. I need to replace it since I have a GTX 1080 and don’t have a computer anymore. I use it for 4K gaming.

Your existing setup should handle games smoothly, but consider upgrading to a GPU with more cores if you plan to upgrade your GPU later.

Yes, it does matter. Playing at 4K still offers better visual quality and detail, which can enhance your gaming experience even if it's just for fun.

Relies on the game's target configurations and frame rate. Keep in mind that while single-core performance is solid, multithreading isn't as strong, leading to more variation in performance across different games.

It should perform well at 60 frames per second with a high refresh rate in 4K, which isn't what you'd typically expect from a 1080p display.

Sure, it's not about the high refresh rate at 4K if you're not into competitive gaming.
