I haven't dealt with a QVL list since the first-gen Ryzen; memory support and stability have improved a lot. No need to stress. While I suggest a 2x16GB 3600MHz CL16 kit, it's up to you. Either way, you should face no problems here.

The choice for 2x16GB over 4x8GB likely balances performance needs with cost and compatibility. For your mixed tasks—3D modeling and gaming—I want all channels active for smoother multitasking. I also like having all four lanes used, though dual channel works fine on my setup.

You'll have room for upgradability and assuming the sticks have the same specs, 4 sticks on zen 2 consumer chips doesn't bring any performance gains, same bandwidth as dual.
