I’m trying to understand why someone suggests this calculation. The idea seems to involve multiplying the number of keys by their price and then adjusting for profit margins. It’s unclear if the approach is correct, but I’d like a clear explanation of the math involved.

Price per skin * 0.8 equals the dollar amount for keys. Even though I can't watch the video, the basic calculations remain consistent. Ten dollars for a skin becomes eight dollars, covering three to four keys. Twenty dollars for a skin amounts to sixteen dollars, which fits six to seven keys.

Quick selling typically occurs between 60-80%, often closer to 60-70%. It involves selling a skin for less than the standard price—usually around 75-90% of market value—since buyers rarely pay full price unless you're on the Steam marketplace. Selling at normal rates like 75-85% can lead to delays, with potential wait times exceeding a month before a buyer is satisfied and makes the purchase.

From an analytical perspective, achieving a 20% gain by returning to the initial cost is not feasible.
