The base speed should return without using speedshift, but QuickCPU restricts max Ghz past 2.20 unless in "best performance" mode on the Windows slider, even after adjusting settings manually. There appears to be no option to reset the applied QuickCPU configurations without a system restore. Uninstalling the app after setting manual values doesn't resolve the issue and keeps it stuck at 2.2 Ghz when not in optimal mode.

Power management configurations are generally handled by the company. I would adjust the setting to maximum performance and check for variations. Updating the BIOS might also resolve this issue.

I've already changed my power plan settings, I'm just operating in balanced mode. The BIOS isn't the problem either. As discussed, I can apply the base frequency for "best performance," but not with any other slider setting, which is what's causing the issue.
