Windows 11 was just freshly reformatted on my PC. The shortcut symbols along the taskbar let you click and launch programs easily. Previously, clicking a Chrome shortcut would reveal the intended pages with a line beneath it, allowing quick selection without hovering. Now, when I open Chrome, another symbol appears beside the pinned ones. If I hover over it, it displays the tabs as desired, but I’d prefer it stays on the permanently pinned version. Edge and File Explorer are doing that too. I don’t remember where to adjust this setting.

I don't know if it will work, but I removed the original shortcut, shifted the extra one to where I want, and pinned it. We'll find out.
