Quick question
I’m sending my MacBook to Rossman for fixing. I had an old Dell Latitude E4300 with Windows 10 installed, and it’s working fine. However, I noticed the laptop came pre-installed with Vista and has a product key on the back. I only need it to function properly, but would Vista offer better performance compared to Windows 10? This is just curious since the machine is from that earlier era.
Choose W10 for now—it’s the latest release backed by updates and should boost performance over Vista instead of hurting it.
There was never a good experience with Vista on any laptop. If I had the chance, my home would run exclusively on XP. The answer is no—it wouldn’t work well. Using 32-bit Windows 10 is preferable, or consider Linux if you need specific Windows programs.
