Hello! I'm not very familiar with technology, so feel free to ask for more details if needed. I've observed that when my cousin plays Roblox on my PC, the connection seems to be getting worse. I've tried restarting the internet, changing graphics settings, and playing on nearby servers, but it still affects the gameplay. If you can provide more information, that would be really helpful! Thank you!

Typically, the Roblox server is located within a few hundred kilometers or miles from you. It might feel like thousands depending on your exact position and connection. Sometimes regional differences or poor ISP peering can increase latency, even if the default speedtest servers are nearby.

It’s common for servers to claim a location while being physically elsewhere. This can happen due to hosting arrangements or regional routing. To improve your connection, consider checking your internet plan, contacting your provider, and using tools like speed tests or VPNs if needed.

Similar situations might occur where they switched hosting services or changed ISPs for their servers. However, if it involves more than one game and multiple accounts, it’s less likely a single hosting issue. More probably related to your ISP and how they connect to other networks. If this applies, there’s probably limited control—you could contact them, express frustration about slow performance, and check for any reported problems on their end, though ultimately little can be done.

It's possible your Ping might be influenced by your computer's memory, but more factors could be at play.

What is the maximum ping value? How long does a strong ping persist? What impacts do you notice in the game when ping is high? What connection type are you using? How do you link to your internet provider? Through Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Does the elevated ping follow a schedule (like daily patterns)? Are there other devices on your network that could be online at the same time?

It operates at speeds between 200-300 ping and stays steady. It never drops below 200, just varies between 200-300. In-game performance isn't laggy, but I feel slow in my actions. My ISP is Xfinity, and I'm using the top-tier plan for my location, which explains the ~600 Mbps connection. The setup uses Ethernet, with the router placed on my desk beside my PC. It's a full day of use, and the only other devices connected are my phone and console, both off when I run PC.

Memory won't influence your ping. Concerning other game servers, if it's just Roblox, the issue likely comes from their servers, not your setup.

It works across all servers I join on Roblox and also for my Steam games. I attempted to close resource-heavy programs and let security filters pass, but I’m still struggling to figure out what’s causing the issue.
