I recently installed a new system about three years ago and am now facing the need to replace a part (motherboard). While doing so, I accidentally broke off some silver pieces from the lian li gallahad ii aio. Should I upgrade from AM4 to AM5 or simply purchase a new motherboard? Here’s what I currently have: a 7950x 3d, a 670mobo, and 32gb of RAM. Running it would cost between 1100 and 1300 USD.

CPU: AMD 5950x
Cooler: Corsair h150i elite 360mm
Motherboard: Dead Dark hero viii 570
Memory: Corsair X32gb
Storage: Two x2 M.2 1tb SSDs
GPU: Asrock 6900xt
Case: Free Corsair obsidian
Power Supply: Corsair 1200 watt
Fan: Too many to list.

If you're satisfied with the performance, motherboard is fine. If you're looking for more speed, switch to AM5 and dispose of your current hardware.
