Questionvery weird problem
Hello everyone, I hope you're all well.
I'm facing an unusual issue with my MSI Leopard GP66 gaming laptop. It suddenly behaves strangely while gaming—fps drops drastically and the GPU usage spikes to 97-100%.
I've tried various solutions: installing a new Windows ISO from an USB, updating the BIOS, uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU driver (which rolled back the update), cleaning the fans, replacing the thermal paste with a cooler master, and even swapping out the battery.
Despite these efforts, my temperatures stay around 30-80°C max, and I still don't understand the cause or how to fix it.
If anyone can assist, I would really appreciate it.
Best regards.
Mustafa
New windows from a USP. Where did you get the installer for the OS? Uninstalling the GPU driver and rolling back the update. Did you use DDU, then reinstall manually with the newest driver from Nvidia's support page? In an elevated command, like right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator?
