I recently sold my 5600 and purchased another 5600. I plan to upgrade my GPU and PSU within the next 1-2 months. Until then, I require a GPU for playing League of Legends. Which one would be more suitable?

They are near enough that the memory they possess takes precedence over the GPU chip. Both options came with DDR3 or GDDR5, and the GT730 even in a less favorable Fermi version with 128-bit memory bus and double-clocked performance but significantly fewer shaders.

The R7 240 offers significant performance gains over the GT 730 DDR3, making it a more suitable choice for most users. Unless you're certain it's the GDDR5 variant, opting for the GT 730 isn't necessary. How much are you willing to spend? What power supply do you currently have? You may have alternative options that fit your budget or requirements.
