Hi there, lovely individuals.
I recently assembled a computer using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and an Asus Prime B550M-A motherboard, but I’m still not getting any signal on the monitor.
I don’t have a graphics card installed and am only using the built-in VGA/HTMI ports.
Someone mentioned online that updating the BIOS might help, but since this board was made in August 2023, I suspect it already came with the newest BIOS.
The motherboard doesn’t have any additional peripherals connected—just the essential parts.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
I verified that the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin CPU power connector are correctly plugged in.
I left just one RAM stick, which is securely seated in its slot.
I cleared the CMOS using the jumper and briefly removed the battery.
Any suggestions or advice?

Is it a 5600 or 5600g? Without the 'g' it lacks integrated graphics, requiring a dedicated graphics card. Video ports on the motherboard won't function without integrated graphics.

I just checked the detailed specifications on the AMD site, and according to Boju, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 does not support an integrated graphics card.
