I own a Ryzen 9700x with an RX 9070 XT. The integrated graphics are active but not linked to a display, and they aren’t in use. Hwinfo reports idle consumption at 40 watts, while during gaming the power jumps to around 160 watts briefly, staying between 40 and 80 watts overall. I plan to turn it off in BIOS, but I’d like to talk about this. Is Hwinfo correct? Is this typical behavior? Why does the iGPU consume so much power even when idle? The CPU only draws up to 80 watts max.

No, I wasn't doing anything else. I only have one monitor connected to the dGPU. I have some concerns about the hwinfo data as well. There aren't noticeable temperature spikes on either the iGPU or the CPU package. This seems odd if it were really consuming that much power.

The numbers for iGPU were reported by Adrenaline and hwinfo. As I said there's only 1 monitor and it's hooked up to dGPU.

Please disregard my earlier remark. Remove the software using the ddu or amd cleanup tool, then reinstall the driver once more since it's a fresh version, which might have some issues.
