Hello, in 2020 I purchased my initial gaming PC with an i5 9400F, RTX 2060 6 GB, 16 GB RAM DDR4, 250 GB SSD, and 1 TB HDD. Over the years it performed well, but last summer I began noticing FPS drops. Although I didn’t mind at first because the system wasn’t that powerful, two months ago everything changed.
I cleaned up the PC, replaced the thermal paste on both the GPU and CPU, and reinstalled Windows from scratch. Since then, I’ve experienced significant FPS reductions. I also installed MSI Afterburner, which caused my GPU temperature to rise to around 40-50°C during lower performance mode, while all six cores of my CPU ran at full speed.
My FPS dropped from 160 fps to 50 or below. I’m unsure if this is solely a CPU issue or if another factor is involved.

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Did you run DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) from your platform and then manually reinstalled with the latest driver from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command? Assuming you're on Windows, that is.
