I was playing Valorant and my screen went black and froze for a few seconds, then my FPS dropped. Usually I get around 200-300 FPS, but now it's stuck at 60-110. The monitor used to work perfectly, and it hasn't been long since I've had my PC for about a year. What could be causing this problem?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Have you tried using DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform then manually reinstalling with the latest GPU driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?
