No one knows the exact reason, but it might be related to how files are handled or their current state.
and when i turn on my pc it displays welcome for around 20 seconds whereas before it took only 2 seconds
Are the drives ssd or hdd? Ssd is fast, hdd is slow. What might have changed when things were better? All of your specs could be useful.
