so i've been checking out some PSU on ebay, these models are really affordable, come with a box, and include all the modular cables. they're not used for mining. i did some research and found out that these models are from an older era. my question is: are these models still worth it in 2023? like with a r7 5800x or 12700k, rtx 2080ti or 3070, or any newer ones?

In general; if they're available, it's best not to purchase them. I would suggest buying from a trustworthy source, brand new, with the warranty ready.
