Hi Everyone, I'm facing a problem with my 9800x3d system. It stutters when browsing the web and using the desktop. When watching YouTube videos, the audio distorts and the cursor moves awkwardly. Games become unplayable. It happens sometimes and other times it works fine. I've tried updating the motherboard BIOS, installing chipset drivers from AMD, and doing a fresh Windows install. Disabling FTPM helped temporarily, but now playing League of Legends is problematic due to Vanguard. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Is Vanguard active or inactive? Check with Task Manager and Resource Monitor. Use each tool separately but keep them open during gameplay. Observe any shifts in performance when stuttering happens.

Because the issue disappears when FTPM is turned off, you should verify whether bit locker is active. If it is, disable it. This could improve performance, particularly if your storage device isn't very fast.
However, the problem might also stem from the Vanguard anti-cheat. It's a highly intrusive tool that operates at the kernel level and can lead to serious complications, especially for those who are actually cheating. Cheaters should be rewarded, but honest players shouldn't have to endure such difficulties. You're not cheating, are you?
