Hey, I'm planning to set up a new rig for streaming, gaming, and video/photo editing. I'm considering the 9070XT paired with the 7800X3d. Will it perform well for streaming and handling video and photo editing, or should I go with the Team Green and the 5070 instead? I mostly play CS and Apex Legends, which are eSports titles.

So previous benchmarks generally indicated Nvidia excelled in eSports games (low resolution/low settings). If you're using competitive configurations, I believe Nvidia remains the superior option. Nvidia's streaming and encoding capabilities are usually seen as better than AMD's, although I'm not entirely confident about that with the 9000 series cards.

However, for higher resolutions and settings, the 9070XT offers a more impressive experience, acting as a faster GPU. The 5070 Ti would be more similar to the 9070 XT and also provides the same 16GB VRAM buffer, though it runs at a faster GDDR7 speed.

9070XT equals 5070Ti in about 99% of situations, though the green card tends to cost around $150 more on average. When looking at the same brand and tier (such as Gigabyte Aorus), this gap can increase to $300.
