Avoid purchasing a non-MSRP 9070xt. Consider waiting until it reaches $599.
The 7900XT outperforms the 9070XT significantly in raster by about 10-15%, while the only advantage the 9070 has is in RT, which neither can match compared to an Nvidia part. At 1.1K I’d consider checking out the 4080 and 4080 Supers for improved performance and better RT and scaling.
This won’t occur; the highest I’ve noticed in stores is 700. A price of 599 is unrealistic—it won’t be reached until further discounts are applied.
Microcenter initially offered a price of 599, but it's possible you might pay more for an AIB model later.
