I don't understand why you're inquiring about the connector and linking a cooler. The connector appears to be a 20+4 pin for the motherboard, it should snap back together.

I was attempting to insert it and then I removed it, causing the 4 pins to emerge. I'm using this tutorial.

Eww. That's a really cheaply made, group-regulated PSU. Hopefully you're powering a very light machine with it (office PC or a basic gaming PC that has a GPU that doesn't require supplementary power).
