I have the following system in place;
- MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) Motherboard
- AMD FX-8350
- 500W PSU
- 2x8GB RAM
The computer fails to start. I removed the RAM and heard three beeps, the CPU fan is running, but the system fan is also active. When I reinstalled the RAM, no beeps were produced and there was no signal detected. Previously, it had a POST signal when it started.
Does this indicate that my motherboard is fine and the RAM is missing?
If I install new RAM, could it get damaged by the motherboard?
Thanks!

The PSU being used is from the specified make and model. It has been in use for some time now. For the RAM, aim to use a single stick and decide which slots will receive the RAM modules.
