The selected device provides USB connections, but it does not include a display source from either platform. You should consider a KVM switch such as this.

It depends on your preference. If you're okay changing monitor inputs each time you switch PCs, then yes. But if you prefer a single button for monitor, keyboard, and mouse, then it works.

Also, I’m pretty sure the Ugreen USB switch I used had issues. Notifications from my Apple Watch would cause the keyboard and mouse to disconnect and reconnect every time.

The reviews I’ve found are mixed, so it’s a decision if you’re willing to spend around a couple hundred dollars on something that could work or not.
