Question Xbox Elite 2 Controller appears as a hidden keyboard device via Bluetooth.
Hi Everyone,
I bought an Xbox Elite 2 controller and it's showing up as a HID Keyboard Device in my device manager.
I uninstalled all drivers, installed the Xbox accessories program, and made sure the controller was updated.
Same problem occurred.
It works wired, but seems to appear as an Xbox controller.
Otherwise it functions normally. I'm checking further now because my machine started blue screening today.
The blue screen only appeared when I connected the controller to the PC.
I also confirmed that the motherboard drivers, including Bluetooth, were up to date.
After confirming the regular controller, everything appears to be functioning properly. Once I connect the Elite 2 Controller, it displays as HID Input. I’m not sure if this indicates a defective device, so I’ll go back to the store to obtain a replacement.
