A suitable and dependable alternative is using a dedicated power supply calculator tool.
When searching for PSU calculators on Google, the top results are Coolermaster, Newegg, Be Quiet!, and MSI. I've stopped using that more than ten years ago, often turning to Techpowerup for recommended PSUs when checking GPUs and then adding extra for safety. The thread was moved from the Apps and Software section to the Power Supplies section.
Have you considered whether any of those options could be as reliable as Outervision was?
