Why don't big studios make so many games like Crysis or Halo? It seems they ignore this genre because it could be a huge hit, but the companies don't really see the potential in it. Also, I feel the games aren't very fun to play and they lack creativity on how they work.
I couldn't get my full access because work stopped using game sites. Just some short text showed up when I searched on Google.
Well because of those criteria, not many games fit into any category. If you only want two specific types of games out of all the options available, then that's fine for now, what do we need to do? You mentioned paying attention to the genre and they sent you a list, so there is plenty of stuff on it just because you don't like most of them... which makes total sense.

What if they make a remake of Crysis? It looks pretty cool, right? And maybe Mass Effect would be even better to play.
Yeah. It's really not ready yet. But I believe those companies will wake up one day and realize what this can do. They already know how to make it happen.
Killzone is another game. Even though KZ2 might be the best one out there, the aliens are just grey humans coming from another planet. When it comes to your question about more missions, I'm not sure yet. Most games seem to repeat old ideas over and over in this industry. Maybe companies stopped trying because they couldn't compete with Halo while that was popular. Now that 343 has shut down the Halo franchise, things could change again. I would really like to see a high-quality game where you are either first or third person and can be a cop in a GTA-style world. This hasn't happened since True Crime, and that company is gone now. Sleeping Dogs was kind of a step forward, but it wasn't as fun being undercover, nor were the driving physics good. I think Rockstar should make a spin-off where you play as police officers for once. I really miss True Crime...
