Do you think programming skills in C or C++ and playing some light games like Valorant are sufficient? I don’t expect to go beyond 30fps, but if they do it would be nice. Sorry, my English isn’t great, but I’m trying my best to explain.

Both are budget CPUs, the Athlon might perform better in games, but that's similar to claiming a big straw is better than a small one for draining a lake.
