Hey everyone, hope y'all are well...
I own a Dell Inspiron 15 7577 laptop, specifically the i5-7300HQ model. Recently, I've encountered a strange issue with its keyboard...
the keys (2, z, s, x) and the CapsLock don't respond, but when I connect a USB drive or mouse or any device with a USB port, it functions properly for a while before stopping again...
I attempted to clean the keyboard and dry the power supply, but it didn't help much. I really need your assistance with this!

Verify if your laptop requires any BIOS updates. Consider reinstalling your chipset drivers. If your trackpad functions, attempt to uninstall the keyboard in Device Manager (without a USB device connected).
Use Keyboardtester to test whether all keys respond and if any keys are stuck. You might also remove the keycaps to check for dust or debris affecting key presses. Please proceed with caution, as you risk damaging the scissor switches, which could make the keyboard unusable. Laptops often have faulty or failing keyboards either by default or after use. If the keyboard tester shows no sticky keys, it may indicate the keyboard needs replacement.
