Question Tablet appropriate for reading books?
I plan to purchase an Android tablet for reading books. I'm checking if the Lenovo TAB M9 (64GB) is sufficient for this task. It's currently available for 114 USD, and its size seems ideal for reading with few comparable options nearby. Another choice is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9, but I'm unsure if it's worth the cost of 219 USD for my needs. I already own an e-reader, but the problem is that local libraries can't store books in my native language on overdrive, so they rely on Android apps instead.
There are definitely Android devices with the Play Store that work well. That’s where I’d head.

I’m not sure what would be best for a regular tablet meant for reading. Higher resolutions could shorten battery life, but they’d make text clearer. Between backlight and emissive screens, I’d probably prefer a more common display rather than an OLED.
I’ve been browsing a bit myself. I own an older e-ink reader, and it’s starting to show its age. Still, it has some decent awards for durability.
I want to purchase from a local webstore or store within my country. The nearest option seems to be the Onyx e-readers, which I've heard some negative feedback about, especially regarding screen durability. So I've decided to look for a regular tablet instead. Thanks for the suggestion.
