Question Strange stability problems reported with a Ryzen 9 3900XT?
I only tested with two sticks, but the system performed better initially and settled on the 3200 clock speed. The cinebench test completed without issues, though when I powered it off it took a second to start, fans ran at full speed, and the power button didn’t respond as expected. The RAM is from the same brand and capacity.

did you purchase a complete set of 4?
two pairs from different sets.
that matters because even if they're from the same manufacturer, they might differ.
also it might be a faulty motherboard.
Is the BIOS current? After resetting CMOS, did you adjust the date and time? If yes and it still doesn't save, likely the CMOS battery is faulty. Regarding the CPU cooler, the one with 1200 watts is significantly too small for the 3900xt model. Which motherboard should I recommend? The 3900xt consumes three times more power and its VRM might not be sufficient.
I'm still uncertain about the exact problem but focused on the motherboard. I used some old components from previous builds and set up a second test rig. The second motherboard was a Gigabyte GA-A320M-HD2 rev 1 with the same RAM PSU, and everything functioned properly. The Ryzen 9 ran well for several hours after work and passed multiple Cinebench tests. I'm not sure what's wrong with the board, but I hope this helps anyone else facing the same issue—try another motherboard if possible.
