I recently purchased a new PC about two months ago and have been experiencing some unusual problems over the past two to three weeks. When the computer starts up, the graphics card sometimes gets disabled, causing the system to lag and the second monitor to show nothing. I discovered that opening Device Manager and enabling the graphics card resolved the issue. Because of how straightforward this solution was, I didn’t investigate further but wondered if it might be worth trying again.

Thanks in advance.

It appears there may be a driver-related problem, and Windows is disabling it to allow recovery. If this occurs again next time, before reactivating or taking further action, check Event Viewer for any warnings before the final shutdown.

Sure, I'll update with the event viewer details next time it occurs. Thanks mate.

I didn’t assume you lacked the ability to interpret them, but I noticed you just repeated what the Linux community has criticized. Suggest someone do 'xyz' and assume they understand what to do.
I’ve never actually shared mine, so I’m unsure if there’s anything unique to identify. Since you’re skimming for what you need, focus on anything that stands out. But if you want clarity, look for identifiable parts, remove them, and share the rest—someone here can help sort through it.
