Hy, i have weird artifacts and i don't know if is a gpu,cpu or some program, windows problem..
im using a tv with hdmi 2.1 cable and primary a monitor on displayport 2.1.. the cables are new..and i tried 2x hdmi cable too but it was the same problem
Pc Specs:
GPU:
AORUS Radeon™ RX 6900 XT MASTER 16G (rev. 1.0)
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
MOBO:
Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II
RAM:
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB F4-3600C16D-32GTZRC
PSU:
Seasonic PRIME GX-1000
so i have this problem for some good month's, mobo and ram is new.. i haved before a b450e gaming with 2x Kingston HX432C16PB3AK2/16 ram and the problem was the same even worse because the pc frozed daily 20-30x and i was getting some blue screen's 2.. so like i opened a folder or when browsing the web pc froze for some seconds or black screen for 2-3 seconds and it gived me amd software crash.. i think i haved problem with 1 stick of ram because i made ram test and it gived me error's.. so i changed them.. now i dind't get only 2x per day or some days none of froze just artifacts'
here are some exemples of the problem

These are GPU VRAM artifacts. Possible reasons include high GPU temperature, GPU OC (particularly on memory clock), or faulty VRAM. First, consider methods to reduce GPU temperatures—such as running GPU fans at full speed and/or increasing case fan RPM. Second, a short-term solution is to underclock the GPU, mainly the memory clock. However, as VRAM degrades, you might need to repeatedly downclock memory to maintain acceptable performance. The only permanent fix is replacing the GPU.

It might be related to the GPU memory section or a faulty driver uninstallation followed by reinstallation. Otherwise, back up all files to a portable drive. If you didn’t perform a fresh OS installation from scratch, don’t keep old files—they can cause driver conflicts and freezing. Also, if your system uses air cooling for the 5900x, consider switching to a water cooling AIO. Additionally, check the BIOS; PBO is a custom version in Asus that disables it, as it previously caused overvoltage issues and nearly damaged the board.

You do realize that in AIO, water doesn't cool the CPU. It just transfers heat from cold plate to the rad. While ambient air is used to cool the rad?
With this, there is no cooling improvement since both (air coolers and AIOs) are, in the end, still cooled by ambient air.

How intense are you pushing the GPU in games? I'm considering a lot. Try reducing the pressure in games to high or medium levels and observe if stability improves. A clear example is the original Crysis with maximum graphics on a Nvidia Titan X Pascal—it just crashed during glitch city. Back it down slightly and see the outcome. Let us know.

ok from experience there was a large improvement i had a 7 heatpipe cooler
https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/TKcg...4-bknnmt-g
.
my cpu kept bumping up to 90. regardless of what paste
spread/ dot/ x whatever pattern didnt do jack. used multiple brands different testing.
most tests i saw running the air cooler where on a test bed and not inside a case which is why I don't recommend it.
yes im well aware how it works and it does cool the cpu with the method you just described.
i only have my own results to go on and i saw a drop on both cpu and gpu temps of 13c.
the distance away from the gpu of having the heat source a good distance away helped they have there place.
air coolers work fine on one ccd they do however struggle when you have 2 ccd. that's from my own experience. there's always about a 8 degree difference between ccd.

Consider trusted evaluations that assess the CPU cooler within a PC case. Like TH (inside Be Quiet! Silent Base 802 and DeepCool CK560WH): Idle times aren't relevant. For AIOs, it's important to apply load for around 30 minutes on the CPU to truly test their cooling performance (this matches the time needed to fully heat the liquid inside). Short bursts of 2-5 minutes don't accurately reflect their capabilities.

Thanks for the answers, PBO is deactivated and I never overclocked. It’s all running stock. I have a warranty on both CPU and GPU until November 25th, which is why I was looking to send it to warranty until I get it from them. I downloaded hwinfo now and after an AIDA 10 minute stress test the CPU is getting too hot. Could this be the issue? With an AIO I think it could be fixed. Here is the hwinfo result after 10 minutes of stress test. But it’s still strange that the CPU die gets too hot only when idle—like browsing the web or opening folders, videos, or pictures on the PC. After changing my RAM, it only happens randomly during long sessions (over 10 hours) without any artifacts or crashes. On other occasions, when I open YouTube for about 5 minutes, the problems appear.

Wow, okay I understand how to check a AIO. 240 works just fine and it ran for 40 minutes actually. When did I even mention idle temperatures with a 13°C difference? Also great review—it runs on an AMD Ryzen 7, which is an 8-core chip, not the 2-core like the Ryzen 9. Instead of focusing on parts of my sentence, maybe read the whole response. Multiple chips under air coolers don’t cool well. One CCD means 8 cores, while the Ryzen 9 5900X has 2 CCDs.

your cpu is overheating, its maximum operating temperature reaches 90c. it will either restart the pc or hit the correct voltage, at least at 1.5 as its safe limit. this is the model i use: i truly believe if your air cooling system is working, the heatsink functions like a radiator next to the 6900x, or the heat from the gpu is escaping into it. placing a aio further away from the gpu will help reduce temperatures. if your case allows, put the cpu at the top of the case and increase fan speed. the gpu hotspot is reaching 94c. to test if the issue is with the cpu itself, go into asus bios and set the cpu max temp to pull power back to 85c. it will adjust clocks and voltage to try keeping your cpu at 85c if possible. this method works on most asus boards, where you can find it: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_jccjVk-FY after adjusting, run a game and check for any artifacts. i personally faced this problem with the 5900x and it really messed with my focus lol.
