OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version: 10.0.19044 Build 19044
This situation is quite frustrating. I struggle with ADD and it’s messing up my sleep routine. I require a system that will automatically restart my computer at specific times each day. There should also be an override feature within a certain buffer period before the shutdown starts. Essentially, I need this automated shutdown to be completely disabled at least three hours before it begins—because my self-control is currently lacking. I’m looking for a solution strong enough to help manage my ADD.

I’m after something comparable to Alarmy for Android. This would be a robust alarm application that locks your phone until you turn off the alarm. A buffer setting before the alarm can prevent modifications or removal of the app. This has been very helpful for me.

Task Scheduler doesn’t work well since it can be altered anytime. Parental Controls won’t help either, and sharing the password with someone isn’t safe enough. A script might be an option, but I’m worried about deleting important files.

Anyone have information about such an app or script? I’m hoping for something at a malware level to keep me away from my PC during the night.

It could be arranged with a timer connected to the monitor's power cord.
Purchase a timer.
Acquire or create a secure box or cabinet.
Connect the power strip to your selected lock-out area and install the timer, configuring the times and off periods.
Attach the monitor to it and secure the setup.
If needed, have a key with someone else in your home so you can access the computer when required.
This would function like school bells, signaling times without the sound, yet reminding you of your scheduled routines.

I'm not entirely clear on what you're asking, but it seems you're wondering about the timer's function and why you can't just unlock it. You also mention confusion about digital wellness tools for phones versus PCs.
