Hello,
I’m seeking an affordable solution to run Adguard Home and Home Assistant continuously with low CPU demand. I’m evaluating a Raspberry Pi 5, a mini-PC such as the HP ProDesk 600 G1 Mini, and a more powerful workstation. Since the cost of the Raspberry Pi 5 should be similar to the mini-PC, price isn’t a deciding factor. Which option best fits my requirements?

The recommended system specifications are outlined by Adguard Home and Home Assistant OS 24/7. A minimal CPU usage is defined as a percentage below which performance remains stable. A cost-effective approach considers your budget, which differs from simply comparing prices. The Raspberry Pi 5 indicates readiness to construct your own hosting setup, which aligns with the intended use.
