Question Ryzen 5 2600 - inquiry
Hi everyone.
Today I'm trying out overclock settings on my Ryzen 5 2600. I'm using AMD Ryzen Master because I'm unsure what changes to make in BIOS to achieve an overclock without having to keep doing it every day. I'm using TUF B450 Plus Gaming and followed these settings:
I ran prime95 for 10 minutes and stopped since I wasn't sure about the voltage—it seems a bit high. What do you think? Should I try running it longer to see if it crashes?
I have an aftermarket cooler (Arctic Freezer 34 duo). The temperatures look good, and the fans are around 75% speed (about 2100rpm).
Any advice? I don't want to overclock the CPU constantly, even for gaming, because I think the difference isn't significant.
Thanks all!
If you wish not to use OC, then refrain from doing so.
For those aiming to overclock the 2600, it's advisable to do it manually rather than relying on any utility programs. You can locate instructions online, though I've included two resources for your reference if you decide to attempt an OC on the 2600.
