Question Replacing a 750W Cooler Master with Corsair rm750e in an HP Omen 30L
I own an HP Omen 30L Gaming PC with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, a 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10850K, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, and a 750W Cooler Master PSU that failed. I am considering replacing it with a Corsair rm750e PSU. I have no prior experience, so I want to confirm if the Corsair model is suitable for my system and graphics card.
There are several videos available about upgrading components of the 30L, and it should be quite simple. Check out this link: https://youtu.be/sMH-1K75kUI?si=PHMfT7C_D10jKUwR. Regarding the CM PSU, it is either semi or fully modular. If it's semi, any connections to the PSU won't work with Corsair, requiring a different wiring setup. Use Corsair's cables instead.
