Question regarding Steam screenshots and privacy?

I was considering sharing screenshots from my Steam gaming sessions on another site for public talk. I heard that some images might reveal personal details, is that true? Will those screenshots include any info about my Steam account or other identifying data? I’m curious about the privacy level when posting such content in Steam.

Unless you upload it to Steam, it just lives in your computer. Alternatively there's always using the PrtScn key and pasting it in your favorite image editing app. Or using Windows + shift + S to take screenshots.
