You're experiencing unusual overheating issues with your system. It sounds like the CPU is struggling under stress, especially during intensive tasks. The fact that resetting everything didn't help suggests a hardware or configuration problem rather than just software. The memory speed remains consistent at 3000Mhz regardless of slot changes, which might point to a driver or BIOS issue. Moving RAM can sometimes resolve thermal bottlenecks, but the high temperatures during overclocking indicate possible cooling challenges. Consider checking fan health, thermal paste, and ensuring proper airflow. If the problem persists after adjustments, it may require deeper diagnostics or hardware evaluation.

It seems the ram is influencing the limited airflow around the VRM.

I concur with @Jumballi to ensure adequate airflow around the VRMs. Monitor your voltage during stress testing of an overclock. Be cautious of unexpected high core voltages even with minor overclocks.

I completely understand, when I tried the auto OC tool, it suggested my CPU required 1.48V at 4.28 OC.

I'm focusing on increasing the multiplier for overclocking to 3.8. The issue seems to be that adjusting only the RAM slots doesn't resolve the problem consistently. It appears the airflow might be adequate, but there could be an excess of intake air. My setup includes a radiator positioned at the front as an intake, two fans on the top right above the RAM and one exhaust. Once I change the RAM temperatures, everything works fine regardless of stick placement. However, if I save and reboot into BIOS, I end up back at 50°C in BIOS, requiring another adjustment to lower the temps. It seems the main concern is managing CPU settings after changes.

Your CPU core voltages were at specific levels before and after relocating the RAM. Changing the multiplier without adjusting voltages might affect auto-voltage configurations. Moving the RAM could potentially alter settings to manage temperatures, and some motherboard BIOS interpret a RAM channel switch as hardware changes, which may reset BIOS parameters.
