Question Red VGA light on motherboard following PSU failure?
Hello,
Yesterday while playing games, my PC shut down unexpectedly. I restarted it but nothing worked—no lights, just silence. I thought it was a bad power supply. After replacing it with a new one, I turned it on again and managed to boot. Now the RAM and motherboard lights are on, but the air intake fans and CPU cooler are not spinning. There’s also a red VGA light on the motherboard, and my monitor isn’t showing any signal. What might be wrong? Could the GPU be dead? I’ve tried reinstalling it, changing the PCIe slot, and reconnecting cables, but still no improvement. I’m new to building PCs and feel lost.
What should I do?

Did you rely solely on the cables included with the new PSU?
