Question "Red Dead Redemption 2" Rockstar Launcher - - - What is the minimum hardware requirement?
Hi guys!
I gave up trying to solve it on my own. I’m running out of ideas.
My Rockstar Launcher games (Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V) aren’t launching because the system says I don’t meet the minimum requirements.

Details:
System X670 Aorus Elite - 7800X3D - 32GB DDR5 - 7900XTX
All drivers are current!
BIOS is updated!
I’ve already tried a clean Windows install on different drives.
I also installed Rockstar Launcher and GTA V on other drives.
Still checking the integrity of the game files.
I own a GTA V version too, but it gives the same error.
If I click OK in the error message, the game starts but only at low resolution and low settings. It doesn’t detect VRAM or GPU, and I can’t adjust any settings inside the game.
Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!
Which AMD driver version is currently active?
Check if both GPUs have been updated.
You can also switch the API between DX12 and Vulkan or vice versa.
See the details here: https://youtu.be/KiSu-uk5wf4?t=145
I verified as shown in the video, both drivers are current. The API is already set up for Vulkan.
I don't understand what you're asking about:
"Where is the Page file located? Configuration/size?"
If you want to know more, you can check it out.
Your current C drive is a Kingston KC3000 1TB with 400GB free space, and you have Rockstar Launcher and RDR2 installed.
You also have a Kingston NV2 4TB SSD with 2.5 TB free space, but you tried to install Rockstar Launcher and RDR2 there and got the same error.
If the system runs out of RAM, temporary storage will be created on a hard drive, such as the Page File or Virtual Memory. Most of the time Windows handles RAM usage and the Page File, but users can adjust settings (though this is usually not advised). Open Task Manager, choose Performance, then Memory. Expand the window to view everything clearly and capture the screen. Share the image here via imgur (www.imgur.com). I believe there might be file corruption or a process consuming all available RAM without releasing it properly.
I'm using a GTX 4070 Mobile GPU. I went back to version 531.79. There were no errors, only a brief black screen before it crashed. Check if the newest drivers are tuned for RDR2 and install those instead.
