I recently found out that in the last few days, my internet speed has gone up really fast, sometimes hitting +1000ms. I tried restarting my router, moving it around a bit. I also updated my network card drivers, switched between ethernet and wifi, used different routers at home, limited the bandwidth, and checked what apps are using the most connection. None of those steps fixed the problem. I have pretty good download speeds and a strong signal, but the ISP says everything is fine. Any help would be really appreciated.

How are you getting those ping results? What IP address do you want to reach? Where is the high delay happening? Which hop along the way? Have you tried other known good Ethernet cables? Run the ping command (no quotes) from your Command Prompt. Post back the results so I can check them. Do you know which ISP you use, what kind of modem and router you have?
