Question Random Freezes, only a full reset is effective
Over several months my computer has frequently stopped working suddenly, without clear reasons. Whether I'm using demanding games, light applications, or just a basic desktop with minimal tasks, it freezes completely at times. Sometimes it lasts days, other times only a few hours. When headphones are on, I notice a brief static and everything halts—audio and video. As mentioned earlier, the solution is a full system reset.
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.26100
CPU: 13th Gen Intel® Core i9-13900KF

When sharing troubleshooting threads, it's standard to provide complete system details. Please outline your hardware specifications in the following format:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
RAM:
Storage: SSD/HDD:
GPU:
Power Supply:
Chassis:

Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
As mentioned, the solution appears to be a hard reset. Besides restarting via the front panel rest button, what other steps have you attempted?
Whether playing demanding games, older less demanding titles, or just running minimal applications on your desktop, what are the game titles involved? Where did you obtain the installers for these games?

I didn't reset the CMOS after, did I? My temperatures stay consistently low to mid 40°C while idle and reach about 80°C during more demanding games on high settings. This is based on my basic software; I plan to run HWINFO and SFC in the morning as well. My CPU is overclocked to 5300MHz. Thanks to both of you for your assistance.
I've downloaded HWINFO, but I'm not sure what I'm dealing with or what I should be expecting. Please let me know if you need to adjust any settings. Regarding SFC, I've also run it. 'Windows Resource Protection did not detect any integrity violations.' I recall from a few weeks ago that SFC found and fixed corrupt files, but the freezing issue persists.
Recent alert in Admin Events indicates a freeze situation. Typically, I verify the event viewer for any new errors, though occasionally no issues appear for hours following the freeze.
